Phoebe

Phoebe was first introduced to yoga when she needed it most, a beautiful tool to ground her in a wild lifestyle! Yoga helped her manage and recover from many Brazilian Jiu jitsu, weightlifting and sports injuries. Later getting diagnosed with endometriosis, yoga was key in physically and mentally managing the condition. Little did she know this was going to be the beginning of one of her greatest passions.

She began her journey in movement and exercise by studying to become a personal trainer but soon realised working in a gym was not for her. Upon qualifying, she knew immediately her next step was a 200hr yoga teacher training, so she set off to the Monchique mountains in Portugal to immerse herself in yoga practice and lifestyle.

On returning to Ipswich, Phoebe contacted Julia (the owner of Suffolk Yoga) and was soon teaching regularly and enjoying being part of the Suffolk Yoga team. Ever the student, Phoebe went on to study sports massage and start her own Yoga & Massage Therapy business: Zenbodies, with the intention to help others manage pain and find freedom of movement.

Phoebe’s teaching style continues to grow, ebb and flow alongside her holistic sports massage practice. In classes you can expect a dynamic hatha and vinyasa flow style approach alongside breathwork and meditation all ingrained with myofacial release/self massage, intuitive movement, strength and mobility practices. She wants to create a space in her classes where everyone feels comfortable to explore their body, relax in their headspace and unlock their movement capabilities.
